Akilan Palanisami, PhD. Research Scientist, Yanfang Feng, PhD. Postdoctoral research fellow and Shoaib Ashraf, PhD. Postdoctoral research fellow from our lab has won the best mentor award at the 2018 Harvard – MIT Summer Institute at Wellman Center for Photomedicine.

They collectively mentored the summer intern student Areeba Khalid from Adelphi University, NY on the project titled “Characterizing the growth kinetics of a single bacterium to predict antibiotic resistance”.
