Huang Chiao (Joe) Huang, PhD recognized with the Trailblazer R21 Award
Joe who is an Assistant Professor in the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland has been awarded the Trailblazer R21 Award this year from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB). The award is an opportunity for New and Early Stage Investigators to pursue research programs of high interest to the NIBIB that integrate engineering and the physical sciences with the life and behavioral sciences.
He is also a recent recipient of the CBET grant from the National Science Foundation whose mission is to advance the progress of science, by funding proposals for research and education made by scientists and engineers.
